When to use: When you don’t know which category a property belongs to, or when searching by keyword using the search box.

Expert tip: Never browse “All categories” without the search box — the list contains thousands of properties in EPLAN 2026.

What it contains: Document archiving metadata — DMS references, document numbers, archive status, storage locations.

When to use: Projects that integrate with a Document Management System (DMS) or require formal document control registration.

What it contains: Device classification codes — ECLASS, product group, device category assignments from parts management.

When to use: BOM reports where classification codes (ECLASS) are required for ERP/SAP integration or procurement systems.
